JURADO, P.E.
Principal - QA/QC

Experience Summary
Mr. Jurado is a Florida-registered professional engineer with over
23 years of experience in civil, surveying, utilities, transportation,
and engineering design. He has successfully managed and
coordinated infrastructure projects for municipalities across South
Florida, including Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. As the
project principal for PDS, Mr. Jurado has extensive experience
working with governmental agencies, ensuring compliance with
permitting requirements, and overseeing quality assurance and
control. His deep understanding of local regulations, permitting
processes, and municipal coordination makes him well-suited to
support continuing professional service needs.

Relevant Experience
E15-WASD -03A-17PDSI002 Small Diameter Water & Wastewater
Pipelines. Miami-Dade County, FL.
Mr. Jurado, serving as the QA/QC Lead, ensured the accuracy,
compliance, and quality of all project deliverables for multiple
WASD work orders. He reviewed technical memorandums,
design drawings, cost estimates, project schedules, and technical
specifications, verifying adherence to WASD standards and
regulatory requirements. His oversight covered engineering
design, surveying, and permitting for over 75,000 linear feet of 8"–
10" watermains/force mains and 30,000 linear feet of 8" gravity
sewer, ensuring that infrastructure replacements met design
criteria and quality benchmarks. Additionally, Mr. Jurado verified
preliminary engineering outputs, including geotechnical data,
topographic surveys, and boundary information, confirming
proper implementation of horizontal and vertical controls
throughout the project lifecycle.

E15-WASD -02 Improvement, Upgrades and Expansion of Local
Wastewater Pump Stations. Miami-Dade County, FL
Mr. Jurado serves as Principal and QA/QC Manager for the E15-
WASD -02 program supporting Miami-Dade Water and Sewer
Department pump station improvements, upgrades, relocations,
and new facilities. In this role, he oversees quality control across
multiple work orders, ensuring that engineering deliverables
including design reports, plans, calculations, specifications, cost
estimates, hydraulic analyses, and permitting documents comply
with MDWASD standards and applicable regulations. His
responsibilities include QA/QC review of pump station designs,
force main systems, electrical arc flash evaluations, feasibility
studies, and construction support documents, while ensuring
coordination among surveying, hydraulic, and multidisciplinary
engineering components. Mr. Jurado also ensures consistency,
technical accuracy, and constructability from preliminary design
34
