As the Director <br />of Engineering at PDS, he oversees project production and quality <br />control and ensures the client needs are fully integrated into <br />engineering designs. His extensive public sector experience <br />includes designing new and existing infrastructure utilities for <br />municipalities across Southeast Florida, with projects for the <br />Miami-Dade Aviation Department, Broward County Aviation <br />Department, Broward County Transportation Department, Miami- <br />Dade Public Works, and Miami-Dade Transit. Additionally, Mr. <br />Eckardt has vast experience in utility coordination and land <br />development projects and is familiar with the required <br />management of staff and sub-consultants on small, medium and <br />large-size infrastructure projects. <br /> <br />Relevant Experience <br />E20-WASD -01B General Land and Engineering Surveying and <br />Mapping Services, Miami-Dade County, FL. <br />This project consists of providing land surveying and Subsurface <br />Utility Engineering (SUE) services for water and wastewater <br />projects identified in WASD's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). <br />• Sunny Isles Boulevard & Collins Avenue. Mr. Eckardt is the <br />Project Manager for this project, that has the objective of <br />providing professional Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) <br />services including up to 10 soft digs requested by the Miami- <br />Dade Water and Sewer (WASD) to be performed at the <br />intersection of Sunny Isles Boulevard and Collins Avenue, in <br />the City of Sunny Isles in Miami-Dade County. Both roads are <br />owned and maintained by FDOT. <br /> <br />E15-WASD -03A-17PDSI002 Small Diameter Water & Wastewater <br />Pipelines, WASD. Miami-Dade County, FL. <br />Mr. Eckardt, as Project Manager, is working closely with WASD staff, <br />preparing technical memorandums, design drawings, cost <br />estimates, project schedules, technical specifications, and <br />providing construction administration services for multiple work <br />orders. His work includes engineering design, surveying, and <br />permitting for over 75,000 linear feet of 8"–10" watermains/force <br />mains and 30,000 linear feet of 8" gravity sewer to replace <br />undersized and outdated infrastructure. The project begins with <br />preliminary engineering and exploration, including the <br />development of geotechnical data and topographic surveys with <br />boundary information, following WASD’s established procedures <br />for horizontal and vertical controls. <br /> <br />36
