RFQ-26-07-01-0-2026/GC <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />Miami-Dade TPO SMART GPC Pedestrian Scramble Evaluations, Miami, FL — Project <br />manager. Kimley-Horn completed two work orders to evaluate the feasibility of installing a <br />pedestrian scramble phase at two signalized intersections in Miami-Dade County. The studies <br />consisted of collecting peak period traffic count data, conducting peak period qualitative field <br />reviews, and evaluating vehicular and pedestrian conditions at the study intersection before <br />and after the implementation of the pilot pedestrian scramble phase. The studies also included <br />developing recommendations and potential countermeasures to consider in order to improve overall <br />intersection operations and safety at the intersection, if the pedestrian scramble is implemented. <br />Las Olas Boulevard and Colee Hammock Neighborhood Traffic Calming, Fort <br />Lauderdale, FL— Project engineer. Kimley-Horn assisted the City with preliminary designs for <br />the reconfiguration of Las Olas Boulevard, which resulted in the City implementing a pilot project for <br />temporary lane elimination and buffered bike lanes. Our services also addressed traffic circulation, <br />safety, multimodal mobility, and quality-of-life issues along the Las Olas Boulevard corridor (from <br />just west of the Himmarshee Canal to the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge). The project also included <br />a traffic calming study for the Colee Hammock neighborhood. Improvements included enhanced <br />crosswalks, raised intersection, and warning lights for improved safety. For Colee Hammock, our <br />team provided plans for roadway design, signing and pavement markings, lighting improvements, <br />and permitting application preparation. Kimley-Horn also provided post-design construction <br />services <br />Districtwide Complete Streets Contract, FDOT District Six, South Miami, FL — Project <br />engineer. Kimley-Horn is currently supporting FDOT District Six, performing professional services <br />and development, evaluation, and implementation of complete streets projects through an ongoing <br />districtwide contract. The goal of this contract is to improve corridor safety, mobility and access, <br />and quality of life for all transportation users. Kimley-Horns duties include the preparation of <br />Complete Street Analysis for arterials or collector road corridors, context-sensitive multimodal <br />community transportation network planning, and cost feasible complete street improvements and <br />strategy identification. Deliverables include recommendations for cost feasible improvements/ <br />strategies and summary of associated project phasing and funding. <br />Pinecrest Village Transportation Master Plan, Pinecrest, FL — Project engineer. Kimley- <br />Horn helped develop a Village wide transportation master plan. Project includes the identification, <br />development, and conceptual design of improvements along corridors and intersections focusing <br />on traffic operations, traffic calming, and multimodal enhancements. Tasks include operational <br />analysis, future traffic forecasting, improvement design, public outreach and cost estimating. <br />Kimley-Horn provided professional services for the development of a Village wide transportation <br />master plan. Project includes the identification, development, and conceptual design of <br />improvements along corridors and intersections focusing on traffic operations, traffic calming, <br />and multi-modal enhancements.
