<br />Hammond & Associates will provide responsive, client-focused engineering services through a structured task
<br />order delivery process designed to meet the City of Sunny Isles Beach's evolving needs. Upon receipt of each
<br />assignment, our team will promptly review the project requirements, meet with City staff to confirm objectives, schedule, budget, and
<br />permitting considerations, and develop a detailed work plan tailored to the specific scope.
<br />Our multidisciplinary team will coordinate closely with City representatives throughout planning, design, permitting, bidding, and
<br />construction support to ensure efficient project delivery with minimal disruption. We maintain open communication through regular
<br />progress updates, proactive issue resolution, and rapid response to City requests, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and
<br />elevated to the City's Project Manager when necessary.
<br />Every project is supported by an established quality control process that includes senior-level technical reviews, interdisciplinary
<br />coordination, and compliance with all applicable City, Miami-Dade County, State of Florida, and federal requirements. Our approach
<br />emphasizes practical, cost-effective solutions, adherence to schedules, and the flexibility to quickly respond to multiple concurrent task
<br />orders while consistently delivering high-quality engineering services that support the City's long-term infrastructure objectives.

<br />and transparent tracking tools that keep the design team, the architect, and the City aligned throughout the project.
<br />• Communication Protocols — recurring coordination calls, milestone review meetings, and a documented distribution list to keep all
<br />stakeholders informed.
<br />• Management Controls — a live permit matrix, action-item log, RFI tracker, and decision log maintained throughout design and construction
<br />to eliminate gaps and support timely City decisions.
<br />• Schedule Management – Milestone tracking, agency review monitoring, and regular progress reviews will be used to maintain project
<br />momentum and quickly address potential schedule impacts.
<br />• Risk Management & Mitigation —Reviewed at each milestone, with mitigation strategies assigned to responsible team members.
<br />Kimley-Horn’s proposed team members were selected based on their experience with similar projects, their established working relationships,
<br />and their availability to successfully fulfill the requirements of this contract. We are fully committed to meeting the City’s project schedules and
<br />understand the importance of delivering services on time to support critical program objectives.
<br />To ensure schedule adherence, we use a proprietary workload forecasting process known as Castahead to project staffing needs over a
<br />rolling six-month period, allowing our Office Production Coordinators to balance workloads across our national network and confirm that
<br />proposed personnel remain available to meet project demands. Our project managers establish realistic work plans at project initiation,
<br />communicate key milestones and submittal dates to the entire team, and use twice-monthly Project Effort Reports to proactively monitor
<br />progress against schedule and budget, making adjustments as needed to maintain both. As an employee-owned, single profit center firm,
<br />Kimley-Horn can rapidly scale resources and shift staffing across offices nationwide to address fluctuating workloads, unforeseen challenges,
<br />or accelerated schedules.
