<br />City Requirement Ross Engineering Qualification
<br />Florida-licensed engineering firm Ross Engineering is authorized to provide professional
<br />engineering services in Florida. Applicable corporate
<br />and individual professional licenses are included with
<br />the proposal.
<br />Active Florida business registration Ross Engineering is an active Florida corporation
<br />established in 2003.
<br />LEED-Accredited team member Robert J. Ross, PE, LEED AP, provides project management
<br />leadership, sustainability input, constructability
<br />awareness, and coordination of technical resources
<br />throughout task-order delivery.
<br />Experience with similar government contracts Ross has more than two decades of experience providing
<br />civil engineering services to municipalities, counties,
<br />school districts, colleges, public works agencies, parks
<br />departments, and utility providers.
<br />Direct experience with the City Ross successfully completed professional civil, roadway,
<br />drainage, permitting, and construction-phase services
<br />for the City’s NE 172nd Street Roadway and Drainage
<br />Improvements project.
<br />Roadway and drainage improvements Ross provides roadway design, paving, grading,
<br />stormwater analysis, drainage structures, exfiltration
<br />systems, gravity wells, pump systems, signage,
<br />pavement markings, and right-of-way improvements.
<br />Stormwater wells and pump improvements Ross has evaluated gravity drainage wells, stormwater
<br />pump stations, pump curves, control structures,
<br />pressurized drainage systems, outfalls, backflow-
<br />prevention systems, and flood-mitigation alternatives.
<br />Water distribution and wastewater collection Ross has designed water mains, fire-flow improvements,
<br />meter relocations, hydrants, sanitary sewer systems,
<br />force mains, lift stations, and sewer rehabilitation and
<br />evaluation projects.
<br />Feasibility studies and planning Ross prepares field assessments, hydrologic and
<br />hydraulic analyses, master plans, basis-of-design
<br />memoranda, alternatives evaluations, technical reports,
<br />and recommendations.
<br />Construction documents and cost estimates Ross prepares signed and sealed plans, specifications,
<br />bid documents, quantities, and opinions of probable
<br />construction cost, updated as the design progresses.
<br />Permitting and regulatory coordination Ross has coordinated permits and approvals with
<br />municipal agencies, Miami-Dade County DERM/
<br />RER, MDWASD, FDOT, FDEP, health departments,
<br />fire departments, water management districts, and
<br />drainage districts.
<br />Bidding and procurement assistance Ross provides pre-bid meeting support, responses to
<br />bidder questions, addenda, bid evaluation, contractor
<br />qualification review, and recommendations for award.
