The improvements were developed to address roadway <br />drainage conditions within a constrained municipal corridor and support more reliable <br />stormwater performance near the City’s coastal and Intracoastal drainage infrastructure. <br />Ross Engineering’s scope included topographic and route survey services, roadway drainage <br />analysis using ICPR 4.0, preparation of construction documents, permitting support, <br />and civil construction administration. The drainage analysis evaluated local hydrology <br />parameters, existing exfiltration trenches, gravity drainage wells, the existing connection to <br />the Intracoastal Waterway, and the existing flap gate backflow prevention device. Proposed <br />drainage improvements included raising the roadway low point, modeling multiple storm <br />events, and incorporating injection pumps and box upgrades for the two existing drainage <br />wells located at the roadway low points.Ross Engineering prepared 100% signed and sealed <br />construction documents, including roadway drainage plan and profile, paving and grading <br />plans, roadway cross sections, utility adjustment plans, pavement marking and signage <br />plans, and stormwater pollution prevention control plans.
