Mr. Mahlie has also been responsible for project coordination between multiple consultants and the client. <br />EXPERIENCE <br />US 40 over Flatrock River in Henry County, Indiana | EOR on all structural items - This structure is a 150-foot long, three span, continuous, AASHTO Type II girder with a continuous cast in place deck and a wall pier supported on a spread footer on steel pipe piles. Bruce served as the design engineer for this project and was responsible for the overall design of the bridge. Specifically, he designed the reinforced concrete deck slab, prestressed beams, wall pier, spread footer, and pipe piling to the current AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. <br />US 40 over Buck Creek in Henry County, Indiana | EOR on all structural items - This structure is a 80-foot long, single span, prestressed, 36-inch Hybrid Bulb Tee Beam. The proposed single spans are supported on fully integral abutments supported on HP Piles. Bruce served as the design engineer for this project and was responsible for the overall design of the bridge. Specifically, he designed the reinforced concrete deck slab, prestressed beams, integral abutments, and HP-piling to the current AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. <br />SR 3 over Prairie Creek in Wells County, Indiana | EOR on all structural items - This structure is a 90-foot long, single span, prestressed, 36-inch Hybrid Bulb Tee Beam. The proposed single spans are supported on fully integral abutments supporting on Pipe Piles. Bruce served as the design engineer for this project and was responsible for the overall design of the bridge.
