Page 106CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH • RFQ #26-07-01 • CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />County Road 100W over Interstate 74 in Montgomery County, IN | Project Manager/EOR on all structural items - This project involved replacing the superstructure on an existing 211-foot long, four span structure. Zed was responsible for the design of the new continuous, rolled W30 steel beam superstructure and verifying the existing foundations. Zed was also responsible for the steel field splice design. The replacement structure components were designed in accordance with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, and the existing substructure was verified in accordance with AASHTO LFD specifications. Zed was also responsible for developing design plans and contract documents to ensure compliance with his design. <br />SR 1 over Duck Creek in Franklin County, IN | EOR on all structural items - This structure consists is a 90-foot long, single span, prestressed, 36-inch Hybrid Bulb Tee Beam. The proposed integral abutments are supported on steel H-Piles. Zed was responsible for the bridge deck design, superstructure bulb tee girder design, and integral abutment design for this project. The project was designed to the current AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. <br />SR 356 over Mud Creek in Pike County, IN | EOR on all structural items - This structure is a 90-foot long, single span, prestressed, 36-inch Hybrid Bulb Tee Beam (Indiana equivalent to a FIB-36). The proposed single span is supported on fully integral abutments supporting on H-Piles. Zed was responsible for the bridge deck design, superstructure bulb tee girder design, and integral abutment design for this project. The project was designed to the current AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. <br />SR 59 over Conneley Ditch, Clay County, IN | EOR on all structural items - This project involved replacing the concrete deck on an existing 586-foot long continuous rolled steel beam bridge. As part of this work, new shear studs were welded on the existing steel beams to create a fully composite section. Zed was responsible for the design of the new shear stud spacing and verifying the existing steel beams and interior wall piers. The existing conventional abutments were converted to a semi-integral condition. Zed is also responsible for the analysis of the seismic response of the structure, as it is located in AASHTO Seismic Zone 2. <br />SR 46 over Fishers Fork Creek, Bartholomew County, IN | Project Engineer for all structural items - This project involved the replacement of a superstructure of an existing 82’ long, three span reinforced concrete girder supported on hammerhead piers on a spread footing. The replacement structure, a continuous flat top concrete slab, perpetuated the existing bridge spans and width. As part of the work, the hammerhead piers were converted to a wall pier condition and the abutments were converted from conventional to a semi-integral condition. Zed served as the design lead for the new superstructure and verified the existing substructure foundations could support the new load. The structure was designed to 17th edition of the AASHTO LFD Bridge Specifications. <br />SR 46 over Bush Creek, Bartholomew County, IN | Project Engineer for all structural items - This project involved the replacement of the edge beam of a 102’ three span reinforced concrete slab top. As part of the scope of the project, a latex modified overlay was placed to provide a smooth driving surface. Zed served as the design lead for the new edge beam and verified the existing substructure and piling could support the new deadload of the rehabilitation. The structure was designed to 17th edition of the AASHTO LFD Bridge Specifications. <br />SR-3 over I-74 Superstructure Replacement, Decatur County, IN | Project Engineer - Responsible for the design of the replacement superstructure for the SR3 crossing in Decatur County, IN. His specific duties included the following: <br /> Estimated quantities and developed INDOT pay item list for pre-bid analysis <br /> Precast, prestressed continuous bulb-T beam superstructure design <br /> Verified capacity of interior multi-column bents for new superstructure loads <br /> Semi-integral abutment design <br /> Profile grades raise to increase vertical clearance of crossing <br /> Ensured plans developed in accordance with latest INDOT standards <br />SR-46 over Fishers Fork Creek Superstructure Replacement, Bartholomew County, IN | Project Engineer - Responsible for the design of the replacement superstructure for the SR 46 crossing the Bartholomew County, IN. His specific duties included the following: <br /> Multiple superstructure alternates design (e.g., continuous slab, spread box) to determine lowest cost solution <br /> Hammerhead conversion to wall pier analysis and design <br /> New wall pier supported by spread footing bearing on rock <br />ZED Z.
