<br />and pavement marking assessment for all I-95 interchanges in Broward County; and over 1000 fatal crash reviews. Also, assisted

<br />Districtwide Traffic Operations Studies, FDOT District 6. Project Manager and Lead Traffic Engineer responsible for conducting
<br />several intersection and arterial safety improvement studies as part of the contract which involved traffic data collection, qualitative
<br />assessments, signal warrant analysis, intersection/arterial analysis, left-turn phase warrant analysis, sight distance evaluations,
<br />lighting analysis, safe curve speed studies, before/after evaluations, road safety audits, intersection control evaluation (ICE) studies,
<br />bottleneck mitigation studies, mid-block pedestrian crossing evaluations, access management evaluations, conceptual improvement
<br />sketches, and preliminary cost estimates. Some examples of completed assignments include access management evaluations for
<br />SR 823 and SR 909, signal warrant analysis for SR 90/SW 147 Ave and SR 5/NE 18 St intersections, mid-block pedestrian crosswalk
<br />evaluation in City of Key West, road safety audits for SR 112 and SR 907, bottleneck mitigation studies for SR 90/SW 74 Ave and
<br />SR 90/SW 137 Ave intersections, lighting evaluations for Shark Key and SR 112, speed limit evaluations for SR A1A, SR 990, and

<br />Districtwide Traffic Engineering Studies & Engineering Reviews, FDOT District 6. Project Manager for engineering reviews
<br />contract that includes review of access permits, utility permits, landscape permits, MOT reviews, traffic studies, PD&E studies, traffic
<br />impact studies, SMART plan studies, safety studies, pedestrian studies, and intersection/arterial analyses through the FDOT’s One
<br />Stop Permitting (OSP) and Electronic Review Comments (ERC) interfaces. Represented the Department in several pre-application
<br />meetings, Access Management Review Committee (AMRC) meetings, District Interchange Review Committee (DIRC) meetings,

<br />Districtwide Signal Retiming, FDOT District 6. Project Manager for performing signal retiming on several corridors ranging from
<br />0.5 miles to 8 miles involving 60 traffic signals in Miami-Dade County. The tasks involved evaluating existing signal timing and
<br />proposing signal timing adjustments aimed at improving travel times and reducing delays. The corridors included SR 934 from NE
<br />7th Ave to Abbott Ave, SR 922 from Broadview Blvd to Collins Ave, SR 925 from NW 8th St to NW 1st St, SR 112 from Alton Rd to

<br />Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety Studies, FDOT District 4. Lead Traffic Engineer responsible for field reviews, and development of
<br />pedestrian and bicycle related recommendations for several roadway segments, intersections, and greenway crossings.
<br />Recommendations from the study included bike lanes, additional lighting, upgrading existing pedestrian features, and minor
<br />signing/pavement marking improvements. The studies also identified technology-oriented improvements such as blank-out signs (to

<br />Districtwide Traffic Operations Access Management, FDOT District 4. Project Engineer for this work-order based contract.
<br />Responsible for numerous data collection, field reviews, operational analysis, development of access management plans, and
<br />development of final reports. Corridor settings ranged from built-up urban to rural areas, with study lengths ranging from one to five
<br />miles. Study steps included field reviews, traffic data collection, operational analysis, crash analysis, and presentations to the District

<br />High Crash Locations Preliminary Safety Review, FDOT District 6. Traffic Engineer responsible for the preliminary safety review
<br />and development of the technical report for 20 high crash segment locations in Miami-Dade County. The project included crash
<br />analysis, expected value analysis, identification of abnormal crash patterns, probable causes and countermeasures, and review of
