FDOT is implementing a data-driven network <br />screening of the State Highway System to identify potential locations for further studies or improvements through prioritization of <br />locations under each of the 13 Emphasis Areas identified in the 2016 Florida Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP). The District’s <br />primary goals are to systematically identify and prioritize safety-focused projects for each of the 2016 SHSP’s Emphasis Areas and <br />establish a repeatable approach to reduce crashes on state roadways. She was responsible to conduct network screening and focus <br />on identifying and ranking sites where improvements have potential to reduce the number of crashes. <br />Rail Highway Crossing Inventory and Support, FDOT Freight and Multimodal Operations Office, Central Office, Tallahassee, <br />FL. Provided desktop data review, field data collection, compilation, geographic analysis, data analysis, and <br />mapping in support of the statewide Rail-Highway Crossing Inventory (RHCI) program. Performed data analysis, database development, GIS grogram development, data <br />digitalizing, mapping, and asset management. Ms. Yang supported the development of various GIS program for FDOT, including the GIS Viewer <br />Plus, FDOT Memorial Maker, DIGA Drainage Inquiry, 3R Application, GAMA GIS Asset Management Application, etc. She performed <br />geospatial services; database design and implementation; configuration and optimization of enterprise applications such as <br />Primavera, ArcGIS, and SharePoint; and application development, including cloud-based web services, desktop/smartphone/tablet <br />applications and field data collection systems. Her involvement also includes performing GIS mapping, GIS database development, <br />and 2D/3D modeling for state facility drainage and water system.
