The project includes a redesign of the current roadway to convert it into a multi-modal, pedestrian-friendly corridor. Roundabouts/Traffic Circles, Raised Intersections, Raised Crosswalks/Speed Tables, and a Chicane will be considered at numerous locations along the NE 6th Avenue corridor. This was a grant awarded to Oakland Park through the Broward Mobility Advancement Program (MAP) Municipal Capital Projects (MCP) Program Cycle 4.
• Complete Streets improvements along the NW 39th Street corridor so that it promotes all modes of transportation. The project includes a redesign of the current roadway to convert it into a multi-modal, pedestrian-friendly corridor. There are segments where traffic-calming features could be added to slow traffic and improve overall corridor safety. This was a grant awarded to Oakland Park through the Broward Mobility Advancement Program (MAP) Municipal Capital Projects (MCP) Program Cycle 4.
These programs can fund mobility projects, including but not limited to complete streets projects, traffic calming and intersection improvements, ADA upgrades, mobility hubs, bus shelters, bike racks, and technology advancements, such as transit signal priority and traffic control devices. Corradino staff have served on the Broward MPO Technical Coordinating Committee in the past as representatives for the City of Weston, City of Pembroke Pines, and Broward County. The Corradino Team will work with the City’s Public Works and Streets Department to discuss the upcoming Miami-Dade TPO agendas and relevant items affecting the City. The Corradino Team looks forward to assisting the City in applying for and being awarded additional projects to improve the City’s transportation network.
| COMPUTER VISUALIZATION/GRAPHICS
The Corradino Team offers award-winning graphic design and visualization capabilities using the latest in multimedia presentation technology, ranging from PowerPoint presentations to 3D Stereo VR videos. The Team has created, directed, filmed, and produced visual presentations and videos for marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, websites, public workshops, industry forums, safety and educational campaigns, instructional videos, and public service announcements. With our creative abilities and visualization tools, we can communicate technical project details in a way the public can easily understand and appreciate. Our creative team has developed and produced hundreds of PowerPoint presentations that include embedded 3D video, renderings, and scripts for the presenter or voice-over talent. We use a complete set of digital graphic design and animation tools for our visualization
services, including Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro/After Effects (Animation/Video Editing), Cinema 4D/Dimensions (3D Modeling), and Google Earth Studio.
The use of 3D modeling, animations, and VR video is increasingly common in immersive, interactive public engagement strategies, and our Team is incorporating these innovative tools into our public engagement planning. These tools allow us to create 3D stereoscopic renderings and videos that can be integrated with virtual reality headsets to give the viewer a fully immersive experience, where they can see (and hear) a proposed project from all angles as they “virtually” walk or drive through it. Our Team has recently incorporated a 3D animated VR experience into a public meeting for FDOT to help participants visualize the R-CUT design concept in a mixed-use urban area with high pedestrian and vehicle traffic near International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Our Team has also produced a 360-degree 4K VR video of an ACROW lift bridge operation for the FDOT District Four Innovation Week. The video allowed participants to experience a 360-degree panoramic view of downtown West Palm Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as the operating details and mechanics of the bridge from a virtual position ranging from 60 to 120 feet above the Intracoastal. The Corradino Team has the experience and expertise to provide visualization and graphics necessary for task work orders under this Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering Services on-call contract.
