This study aimed to determine if improvements were necessary to maintain resident’s quality of life by managing traffic concerns to minimize through-traffic intrusion into the residential neighborhood and maintain vehicle speeds at suitable levels. Public involvement meetings were held to engage area residents. Following traffic count and speed measurements, traffic calming measures were recommended. <br />NW 112TH AVENUE AND NW 50TH STREET SIGNAL WARRANT STUDYThe Consultant provided traffic engineering services related to the preparation of a traffic signal warrant study at the intersection of NW 112th Avenue and NW 50th Street in the City of Doral, Florida. In addition, a speed study was completed along the NW 109th Avenue corridor between NW 41st Street and NW 58th Street. The City of Doral in conjunction with the Miami-Dade TPO completed a NW 114th Avenue and NW 112th Avenue Improvements Study in 2017. One recommendation from this completed study was to evaluate a traffic signal warrant at the NW 112th Avenue and NW 50th Street intersection.
