Page 78CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH • RFQ #26-07-01 • CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) <br />TAB 3 | STAFFING <br />Travel Demand Forecasting and Regional Modeling <br />Srin Varanasi is Vice President and will serve as Corradino’s lead transportation modeler on this contract. His most recent efforts include project management of the districtwide systems planning contract for FDOT D4; the Richmond, VA TPO on-call planning contract; and the PART Freight Study in Greensboro, NC. Mr. Varanasi specializes in traffic forecasting, multi-resolution modeling, long-range planning, and corridor master plans. He currently serves as the chair of the Southeast Florida Model User Group. Mr. Varanasi is a key member of the Activity-Based Modeling teams for the Southeast Regional Planning Model (SERPM7) and the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Model (TCRPM4). Mr. Varanasi led the Tri-County Regional Long-Range Transportation Plan forecasting processes for the 2040 and 2035 regional LRTPs. He is also highly experienced with big data sources such as Streetlight, Airsage, INRIX, HERE, and NPMRDS. <br />Kathryn Lyon, AICP, brings 25 years of zoning, land use, and development planning experience in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, in both the private and public sectors. Kathryn provides invaluable expertise to navigate the land development process, from site evaluation and due diligence through project completion. As a Planner, GIS Analyst, Zoning Coordinator, Certified Floodplain Manager, Project Manager, and Realtor, Kathryn offers government, commercial, and residential property owners and developers a full range of services at all construction phases, from planning to completion. She also currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Florida International University. <br />Urban/Land Use/Municipal Planning/GIS and Grant Management Services <br />Scarlet Hammons, AICP CTP, specializes in analyzing land-use issues related to comprehensive plans, zoning, and all aspects of the site-planning process. She is one of the few planners in Florida to earn the AICP Advanced Certification in Transportation Planning. Her experience also includes preparing zoning regulations, writing comprehensive plans, drafting ordinances, and assisting applicants with the planning process. She has managed numerous planning projects for Corradino’s municipal and agency clients. She is currently on the Planning and Design Review Board for the Village of Biscayne Park. <br />Structural Engineering <br />Bruce Mahlie, PE, is a Structural Engineer who will serve as Senior Structural and Bridge Engineer for this contract. Mr. Mahlie has provided structural engineering design, structural analysis, and project coordination services for many value engineering, large design-build, and rehab projects. He was responsible for fast-paced bridge design, post-failure analysis, structural and stability analysis during shipping, and plan development. Mr. Mahlie has also been responsible for coordinating projects among multiple consultants and the client.
