City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ 26-07-01 Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering | Architects 17 • Coordination with the City of Sunny Isles Beach • Coordination with Miami-Dade County and other authorities having jurisdiction • Comment tracking • Written responses to agency comments • Drawing and specification revisions • Meetings with agency reviewers • Permit resubmittals within the authorized scope V3’s objective will be to identify likely permitting requirements early and incorporate them into the design process, reducing the likelihood that significant agency issues will emerge after completion of the Contract Documents. Bidding and Procurement Support When requested by the City, V3 is available to provide: • Final coordination of procurement documents • Participation in pre-bid meetings • Responses to bidder questions • Preparation of clarifications and addenda • Review of proposed substitutions • Technical review of bid information • Assistance evaluating scope-related bid issues • Support during contractor negotiations • Recommendations regarding design-related procurement matters V3 understands the importance of maintaining clear, consistent, and well-documented information throughout a public procurement process. Construction Administration and Project Closeout The V3 Team is available to provide: • Participation in preconstruction meetings • Regular project-progress meetings • Site observations • Review of Requests for Information • Review of shop drawings, product data, and other submittals • Clarification of the Contract Documents • Coordination of architectural and engineering responses • Review of proposed changes • Assistance with Change Orders and Construction Change Directives • Review of contractor payment information within the authorized scope • Structural, Mechanical/HVAC, and Plumbing construction-phase support • Punch-list observations • Substantial-completion support • Final-completion support • Review of closeout documentation • Review of contractor-provided record information • Coordination of revised design documents when required by the task order • Delivery of final electronic project documentation V3 will coordinate HBC and TLC during construction whenever technical questions, submittals, RFIs, observations, or proposed changes involve their respective disciplines. V3 ARCHITECTURAL AND INTERIOR DESIGN QUALIFICATIONS Founded in January 2009, V3 Architectural Group, Inc. is an award-winning, full-service Architecture and Interior Design firm headquartered in Miami-Dade County. For 17 years, V3 has provided architectural, planning, interior design, permitting, and construction-phase services for public- and private-sector clients throughout South Florida. V3’s services under this contract will be managed from its Doral office, providing the City of Sunny Isles Beach with direct access to the firm’s principals and project personnel. V3’s local presence supports timely site visits, coordination meetings, agency interaction, and response to both planned and time-sensitive assignments. The firm’s principals bring extensive individual experience in architecture, interior design, planning, public facilities, transportation facilities, municipal offices, renovations, additions, and new construction. V3’s principal-led structure allows its leadership to remain actively involved from initial programming and task-order development through design, permitting, bidding, construction administration, and closeout.
