The firm’s experience includes healthcare, <br />education, aviation, commercial, civic, public-safety, institutional, and other technically demanding facility types. <br />For the V3 Team, TLC’s assignment is specifically focused on Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing Engineering. <br />TLC’s qualifications include: <br />• Existing-building system evaluations <br />• HVAC analysis and design <br />• Equipment replacement <br />• Mechanical-system modernization <br />• Plumbing-system evaluation and design <br />• Public restroom plumbing <br />• Renovation of occupied facilities <br />• Municipal and public-safety facilities <br />• Controls coordination <br />• Energy-efficiency evaluation <br />• Commissioning-related expertise <br />• Construction documents <br />• Permitting assistance <br />• Construction Administration <br />• Review of RFIs and submittals <br />TLC’s experience with continuing-services contracts and occupied public facilities will be particularly valuable for <br />assignments requiring focused system studies, equipment replacement, phased renovation, or comprehensive building- <br />system improvements. <br />TLC also maintains in-house sustainability and energy expertise and has participated in more than 500 LEED-certified <br />projects. This local and regional <br />experience is directly relevant to Sunny Isles Beach because the V3 Team is familiar with: <br />• South Florida construction conditions <br />• Coastal and severe-weather considerations <br />• Municipal project-delivery requirements <br />• Existing-building conditions <br />• Public-facility operations <br />• Miami-Dade County permitting processes <br />• Accessibility and code-compliance requirements <br />• Governmental procurement procedures <br />• Multi-agency review and coordination <br />• Contractor and consultant coordination <br />• Projects involving fixed public funding and operational <br />constraints <br />V3’s experience includes coordination with municipalities, Miami-Dade County departments, transportation agencies, <br />permitting authorities, specialty consultants, and other governmental stakeholders. <br />The Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility is an example of V3 personnel’s experience supporting a complex <br />FDOT project involving a multi-story parking structure, pedestrian bridge, transit facilities, bus infrastructure, and related <br />site improvements. <br />V3 personnel also participated in the Dolphin Station Park-and-Ride Transit Terminal Facility, which required coordination <br />among transportation agencies and public-sector stakeholders.
