City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ 26-07-01 <br />Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering | Architects <br />38 <br />TLC ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS - MECH/HVAC/PLUMBING PERSONNEL <br />MECHANICAL, HVAC & PLUMBING ENGINEERING <br />TLC Engineering Solutions will support V3 with Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing Engineering services for assignments requiring building-system <br />evaluation, renovation, replacement, or new design. <br />Vincent McNish, PE, CxA, LEED AP, CPD | Senior Associate | Senior Mechanical Engineer | M/HVAC/Plumbing Lead | 36 Years of Professional Experience <br />Vincent McNish will serve as TLC’s primary Mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing professional for the V3 team. He brings 28 <br />years with TLC and eight years of prior professional experience. Mr. McNish holds a Master of Science in Mechanical <br />Engineering from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the <br />University of the West Indies. He is a Florida Professional Engineer and holds credentials as an ACG Certified <br />Commissioning Authority (CxA), LEED Accredited Professional, and Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD). <br />His experience includes mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection engineering for municipal facilities, police <br />and fire stations, community facilities, continuing-services contracts, building renovations, generator projects, and <br />major occupied public buildings. <br />Relevant assignments include: <br />• City of Miami Beach Continuing Services – miscellaneous MEP engineering assignments including fire pump and generator replacements <br />and recertification-related work <br />• City of Boca Raton Continuing Services – MEP/FP assignments including City Hall renovations, library generators, Police Department <br />improvements, and Fire Station HVAC services <br />• City of Miami Gardens Betty T. Ferguson Park – facility renovations including bathrooms and building improvements City of Miami Beach <br />• Police Headquarters Renovation –comprehensive renovation and modernization of major building systems within an 88,000-SF public-safety <br />facility <br />• Broward County Judicial Complex – building-system replacement and upgrade work <br />For Sunny Isles Beach, Mr. McNish’s responsibilities may include: <br />• Existing mechanical and HVAC system assessments <br />• HVAC system design and replacement <br />• Plumbing system evaluation and design <br />• Equipment selection and replacement <br />• Building-system renovation and modernization <br />• Energy-efficiency and operational-performance considerations Coordination with architectural and structural systems Preparation of <br />calculations, drawings, and specifications Permitting and agency coordination <br />• Construction administration and technical support Commissioning-related coordination when required <br />His combination of mechanical engineering, plumbing, commissioning, sustainability, and municipal continuing-services experience makes him <br />particularly well suited to support the variety of assignments anticipated under this contract.
