BSO TRAINING AND EVIDENCE STORAGE WAREHOUSE <br />MASTER PLANNING <br />BSO WAREHOUSE <br />PROGRAMMING & SCHEMATIC – 12/2022 <br />WZA prepared a report to evaluate approximately 10-acre parcel, <br />programming and a series of diagrammatic planning studies and <br />options to accommodate a new warehouse with office and storage <br />spaces for BSO Training Division and evidence storage, including an <br />indoor garage to secure approximately 400 evidence vehicles. <br />The proposed site can accommodate a new single story warehouse <br />facility for Broward County Sheriff’s Office. The new building provides <br />warehouse space for the Training Division and Evidence Unit as well as <br />an enclosed garage to store almost 400 vehicles. <br />The warehouse component is comprised of two equally sized 50,000 <br />square feet storage spaces with support spaces. The ground floor of <br />each warehouse space has a 35,100 square feet floor plate that <br />includes approximately 1,800 square of office space, restrooms, and <br />other utility spaces. The remaining 15,000 square feet or so will be <br />located on a mezzanine level within the warehouse areas.
