Each <br />review will evaluate: <br />Scope compliance <br />Technical accuracy <br />Interdisciplinary coordination <br />Code compliance <br />Constructability <br />Cost alignment <br />Permit readiness <br />Bid clarity <br />Incorporation of City comments <br /> <br />Phase 5: Permitting & Bidding <br />WAD and its consultants will coordinate permit submissions and respond to comments from <br />the City, Miami-Dade County, DERM, FDOT, DEP, and other authorities having jurisdiction, <br />as applicable. <br /> <br />During bidding, WAD will assist the City by: <br /> <br />Preparing the final bid documents <br />Attending pre-bid meetings <br />Responding to bidder questions <br />Preparing addenda and clarifications <br />Reviewing substitution requests <br />Evaluating bids <br />Assisting with contractor selection and award recommendations <br /> <br />Phase 6: Construction Administration <br />During construction, WAD will help the City verify that the work is progressing in general ac- <br />cordance with the contract documents. <br /> <br />Services may include: <br />Preconstruction and progress meetings <br />Site observations and field reports <br />Submittal and shop-drawing reviews <br />Responses to requests for information <br />Review of contractor payment applications <br />Evaluation of proposed change orders <br />Review of substitutions <br />Punch-list inspections <br />Substantial and final completion reviews <br />Closeout and record-document coordination <br /> <br />Phase 7: Closeout <br /> <br />WAD will coordinate project closeout by confirming completion of outstanding items and re- <br />viewing required closeout documentation. WAD will assist the City with final inspections, <br />punch-list resolution, warranties, operations and maintenance information, and record docu- <br />ments. <br />4.4 MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM COORDINATION <br /> <br />60
