<br />Gabriel supports routine traffic data collection for FDOT District 4 on a Task Work Order basis, including turning
<br />movement counts, spot speed and speed profile data, volume and classification counts, pedestrian and bicycle
<br />data, and travel time and delay data, as well as assisting the District with miscellaneous data collection and traffic
<br />studies.

<br />Gabriel supports the evaluation of impacts from omitting permissive left-turn phases at signalized intersections
<br />along a corridor that includes a drawbridge over the Miami River. He performs data collection including turning
<br />movement counts, travel time and speed data, queuing data, signal timing data, and drone operations for aerial
<br />footage, and contributes to VISSIM microsimulation, future volume forecasting using SERPM, and historical crash
<br />analysis and safety evaluation.

<br />As Transportation Engineering Technician, Gabriel supports traffic data collection for a Project Development and
<br />Environment study for rehabilitation of the NW 17th Avenue Bridge. The data collection includes turning movement
<br />counts, 24-hour classification volume counts, videos, peak-hour drone videos at the bridge closure, pedestrian
<br />and bicycle data, origin-destination data, spot speed data, and queueing data at various locations.

<br />Traffic Analysis
<br />As Transportation Engineering Technician, Gabriel supported analysis of future traffic weaving conditions for the
<br />planned reconstruction of the SR-826/US-27/Okeechobee Road corridor. He collected volume and classification
<br />counts, turning movement counts, origin-destination, travel time and speed data, and queuing data, and conducted
<br />microsimulation analysis for existing, future no-build, and future build conditions, with data used for network
<br />inputs, calibration, distribution, and forecasting of future traffic.

<br />(MDC-DTPW), MDC-TSS and MDC-DTPW, Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) Implementation
<br />Phase I
<br />As Transportation Engineering Technician, Gabriel supported the ATMS Implementation Phase I effort converting
<br />existing signal timing databases to the format for new local controller software prior to installation of new traffic
<br />signal controllers. The conversion ensures proper clearance intervals complying with the Manual on Uniform
<br />Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and FDOT Traffic Engineering Manual and maintains existing signal operational
<br />functions, with new controllers tested and timing documents signed, sealed, and submitted, supporting municipal
<br />traffic signal operations.
