He has led
charging infrastructure master plans and site assessments for transit
agencies and ports, and has delivered traffic signal design, corridor safety
studies, and pedestrian safety improvements for state and local agencies. His
portfolio includes leading Ohio's inaugural Pedestrian Safety Improvement
Program and directing transit signal priority and ITS deployments in multiple
jurisdictions. Skilled in Synchro, SimTraffic, Sidra Intersection, HCS, Civil
3D, and MicroStation, Rami has helped clients secure Highway Safety
Improvement Program funds and advance safety-focused improvements
from planning through implementation. He is a licensed Professional Engineer
in Florida, Washington, and Illinois.
* Port of Long Beach (POLB), Harbor Department Fleet Zero Emissions
Infrastructure Master Plan and Implementation Plan
As Design Manager, Rami led the design concept drawings and layouts for
the charging infrastructure and technology, site planning, and feasibility
assessment for power distribution supporting the Port's electric vehicle
transition. The plan covered roughly 200 vehicles and 16 vessels; the team
conducted an energy demand model, coordinated with the local utility, and
reviewed as-built drawings and site conditions to determine optimal charging
infrastructure locations.
Location: Long Beach, CA.
