Riverwalk North Seawall Replacement Project <br />City of Fort Lauderdale <br />HBC is providing design services for the replacement of the Riverwalk North <br />Seawall, starting from the Andrews Avenue Bridge and going five hundred feet <br />west toward the FXE train tracks. <br />This project includes, but is not limited to, the following: <br />• The design of a new seawall in the form of sheet piling in front of the existing <br />concrete seawall on the side facing the river <br />• The demolition of the existing concrete catwalk located in front of the <br />existing seawall on the side facing the river <br />• The installation of fixed docks attached to the new seawall <br />• The installation and attachment of new floating docks and amenities <br />• The relocation of utilities attached to the concrete catwalk, as well as the <br />replacement of utility stations located on the existing concrete catwalk <br />• The replacement of various electrical shore tie pedestals <br />• The on-site inspections of deteriorated structure elements and the <br />preparation of designs and specifications for appropriate repairs and <br />replacements <br />• Data collection and review of existing conditions <br />• Various post-design services, such as attending, recording, and preparing <br />of minutes for the pre-construction meeting, and the review of all <br />shop drawings, product data, cut sheets, and submittals to determine <br />Location <br />Fort Lauderdale, FL <br />Dates <br />2024 - Ongoing <br />Budget <br />HBC Fee: $386K <br />Reference <br />Laura Deluca <br />LDeluca@fortlauderdale.gov <br />Scope of Services <br />Seawall Design, Utility <br />Relocation, Electrical <br />Pedestals, Floating Docks, <br />Structural Inspections, <br />Post-Design Services. <br />Relevance to the Scope <br />1.
