HBC Engineering Company | 28 <br />South County Reclaim Pump Station Site <br />Development Phase 2 <br />Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department <br />HBC Engineering Company provided comprehensive civil-site design <br />services for the development of a reclaimed water pump station site in <br />support of Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) <br />Project No. 22-033. The scope of work encompassed full site layout and <br />utility design, including building placement, site access and circulation, <br />grading and drainage, utility connections, and lighting design. <br /> <br />HBC led the coordination with architects and landscape architects to <br />optimize building orientation and yard piping while ensuring compliance with <br />setbacks and accessibility. Deliverables included a detailed site plan, paving <br />and drainage plans, utility layouts, lighting design, a stormwater pollution <br />prevention plan, and a drainage report. The firm also managed permitting <br />efforts with Palm Beach County Land Development, South Florida Water <br />Management District (SFWMD), and the Lake Worth Drainage District. <br /> <br />Additional responsibilities included preparation of construction documents <br />at 60% and 90% design milestones, assistance during bidding and award, <br />and construction-phase services such as periodic site observations, as- <br />built plan review, and project closeout documentation.
