HBC Engineering Company | 29 <br />Q16 A&D Small Diameter Water Main <br />Replacement Program (SDWMRP) <br />Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (MDC-WASD) <br />Serving as Project Manager for the Miami-Dade County Water and <br />Sewer Department (MDCWASD) Q16 A&D Small Diameter Water Main <br />Replacement Program, overseeing the design and implementation of small <br />diameter water mains as part of a phased infrastructure replacement effort. <br />The project includes the replacement of approximately 48,080 Linear Feet <br />(LF) of 8” diameter, 8,072 LF of 12” diameter, and 4,282 LF of 16” diameter <br />water mains, along with Consumer Line Relocations (CLRs). Responsibilities <br />include leading the planning and design phases, including feasibility studies <br />to determine optimal routes, coordinating survey activities, and managing <br />Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and geotechnical investigations to <br />support project goals. <br />The role also involves ensuring the timely development of construction <br />documents, facilitating permit acquisition, and supporting procurement <br />processes to meet project timelines. Additionally, I provide engineering <br />oversight during construction to ensure the work aligns with quality <br />standards, compliance requirements, and project objectives.
