<br />and Shared-Use Path segments and reflect earthwork and quantities.

<br />Engineer preparing Districtwide Resurfacing Scoping Reports, analyzing existing conditions to determine
<br />deficiencies and substantiate project purpose and need, and developing project concepts and alternatives.
<br />Gonzalo prepared conceptual and master plans, roadway plan typical sections, preliminary cost estimates,
<br />preliminary drainage analysis and plans, pavement design, and access management plans.

<br />Project Engineer who led roadway and signalization improvements for two corridors, S.R. 7/U.S. 441 from the Miami-
<br />Dade/Broward County Line to north of Sample Road and S.R. 858/Hallandale Beach Boulevard from S.R. 7/U.S. 441
<br />to SW 58th Avenue. Gonzalo directed signalization and ADA ramp enhancements, including countdown pedestrian
<br />signals, pedestrian detectors, lighting retrofits, high-emphasis crosswalks, and new signalized midblock crossings
<br />with pedestrian channelizing fences, and designed a drivable sidewalk, paved swale regrading, additional drainage
<br />structures and French drains, and a new Shared-Use Path (SUP) for pedestrian connectivity.

<br />Design Engineer who led the Signing and Pavement Marking (S&PM) design and prepared overall project quantities
<br />and the cost estimate for safety and operational improvements at a high-speed intersection. Gonzalo's scope
<br />included widening the northbound lanes, providing exclusive free-flowing left- and right-turn lanes, widening
<br />acceleration lanes, shoulder reconstruction, Milling and Resurfacing (M&R), new guardrails, bike lanes, signage,
<br />and design variations.
