VINCENT L. MCNISH, P.E., CPD, LEED AP, CxA <br />Associate/Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Mr. McNish has twenty years experience in all phases of mechanical engineering <br />analysis and design for HVAC systems for all building types including <br />educational, commercial and industrial facilities. His areas of expertise are <br />various types HVAC systems, central cooling and heating plants, building <br />pressure and thermal load analysis, building energy conservation related to <br />HVAC systems. <br />Plumbing experience involves commercial and residential building configurations, <br />systems design and code compliance studies. Fire Protection designs include <br />wet, dry and pre-action systems experience. Several types of hazards <br />occupancies include low and medium high-rise commercial and residential <br />buildings. Project experience includes: <br />•City of Sunny Isles Pelican Community Park Recreation Building, <br />Sunny Isles, Florida <br />New two-story, 13,000 square foot community center building and a <br />basketball/gymnasium building of approximately 9,900 square feet. The <br />community center building is to include some offices, several multi- <br />purpose spaces, a warming kitchen and a pantry for the use of caterers. <br />The Gymnasium is to include a full-size basketball court and a snack bar <br />area/$7.4 million/2008 <br />•YMCA South Dade Branch, Miami, Florida <br />The project is to consist of a new building to include administrative offices, <br />a youth / community center, wellness venues, an outdoor aquatic center <br />with a pool having 3,200 sq. ft of surface area, locker rooms and ancillary <br />spaces such as mechanical and electrical rooms. There will also be an <br />exterior play yard and basketball courts. The total area of building <br />construction will be approximately 35,328 sq. ft./$7.3 million/2013 <br />•City of Plantation Deicke Auditorium, Plantation, Florida <br />Design/Build project consisting of multiple renovations to a 8,345 sq. ft <br />facility used for meetings and cultural events throughout the year. <br />Renovations include lighting renovations, air conditioning system <br />replacements, renovations to four restrooms, kitchen renovation/2013 <br />•University of Miami Alumni Center, Coral Gables, Florida <br />The project consists of new four-story, alumni center building consisting of <br />approximately 67,000 gross square feet. The first floor will have public <br />spaces such as the reception, lobby, multi-purpose room, conference <br />room, living room, library, lounge and other ancillary and support areas. <br />The second floor will consist of conference rooms and offices, storage <br />and support spaces.
