No. 028029 EXPERIENCE Ms. Nydia Martinez has over 7 years of experience in the interior design industry. Ms. Martinez has worked with other designers and contractors in diverse residential and commercial projects, collaborating in space planning and design concept, furniture and finishes selections and production of CAD and Visualization documents. In addition, Ms. Martinez experience includes preparation of floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations and millwork details, pricing and coordination, assembling specification books, creating budgets and proposals, maintaining the resource library, meeting and coordinating with representatives and updating of product catalogs. She possesses great experience translating sketches and CAD documents into realized 3D models and images, and also rendering corporate interiors with a high level of proficiency. The following is a list of selected project experience: NSU FLIGHT DECK ADDITIONS & RENOVATION, Davie, Florida ACAI was chosen to provide architectural design services for the renovation and expansion of the student lounge area, Flight Deck. This has been a special project promoted by the Student Government Association (SGA) at Nova Southeastern University. The communication of design intent was essential to gain the University's approval and support. Virtual 3D images both rendered and in a blank canvas format were used to convey a sense of the potential modifications intended to create a "pub" environment and promote a space for student gathering and collaboration. Our scope of services include Architecture, Interior Design, 3D Visualization, Design, Construction Administration, Bidding and Permitting. NSU HPD & A/E CONTINUING SERVICES Multiple Campus Locations ACAI Associates is Nova Southeastern University's Campus Architect and is currently working in all its campuses throughout the State of Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. ACAI began its relationship with the NSU with the design of its Health Professions Division in its main campus in Davie, Florida. Slated to grow to 2,000,000 sf by 2020, the original 800,000 sf HPD Campus designed by ACAI is now at over 1,000,000 sf and is awaiting the building of its Center for Collaborative Research (CCR), a 216,000 sf lab and research facility, and the start of design of a 10 -story infill tower followed by another multi -level expansion housing approximately 300,000 square feet of teaching, clinic and research spaces.
