Parkland West Fire Station with ACAI Associates, Inc. <br />A $3.1 million, 11,000 sq. ft. new fire station facility with offices for the city of Parkland Building Department was de- <br />signed using BIM by Ms. Wiliams led team of engineers and technicians. The project was completed in February. <br />City of Miramar Police Headquarters Facility <br />Ms. Williams is serving as the project manager for this 4 story, 60,000 sq. ft., $22 million facility designed to withstand <br />extreme hurricane wind loads. The building exterior walls and framing are also design the mitigate damage from ex- <br />plosive blasts and to prevent progressive collapse. This design -build project is currently under construction. <br />Urban League of Broward County: Community Empowerment Center, Ft Lauderdale <br />Ms. Williams served as project manager and special inspector for this two story building that was completed in May <br />2012. This multi - purpose facility has approximately 30,000 sq. ft. of floor area housing new offices for the Broward <br />County Urban League, as well as large meeting rooms and training. The building also includes a two story space with <br />allowance for a future 2nd floor addition. This facility was constructed with tilt -up, composite steel floors, bar joist low <br />roof and cast -in -place concrete roof. This project was completed in 2012. <br />JAFCO — Respite & Residential Center - Sunrise, Florida <br />Ms. Williams is the project manager and threshold inspector that includes a 33,000 sq. ft. tow story, multipurpose <br />facility constructed of steel framing at the roof, precast and cast -in -place concrete at the floors, and masonry bearing <br />walls. In addition there are three 5,500 sq. ft. one story residential buildings constructed with a cast -in -place concrete <br />roof using special Styrofoam formwork (a specialty formwork that stay in the building and provides insulation) and <br />masonry bearing walls. There are also three auxiliary buildings and miscellaneous site structures constructed with <br />concrete and masonry. This project was completed December 2013. <br />Foster Park Community Center <br />Ms. Williams served as project manager and special inspector for a new one story Community Center building with <br />approximately 9,130 sq. ft. to house a banquet hall, library, classroom, a small gymnasium and support spaces. She <br />did most of the analysis, design and detailing of this CM E, bar joist, composite bar joist and cold form steel trusses. <br />Approximately half of this one story building was designed for a future second floor.
