AECOM RFQ No. 15-04-01 Engineering Stormwater Infrastructure and Pump Station Evaluation/Design. AECOM is adept at planning, designing, permitting, and constructing solutions to the complex engineering challenges of managing and using one of your most valuable natural resources, water. AECOM’s expertise covers the full spectrum of stormwater engineering services in addition to water quality modeling performed for both governmental and private clients. We work closely with other professionals in environmental sciences to provide engineering plans and facilities, which complement the natural environment while meeting our client’s goals and objectives. AECOM is acutely aware of the public’s growing interest in sidewalks, streets, and other improvements because it is a major factor in our expanding work. AECOM has provided roadway design and transportation services for numerous clients. A portion of our work includes sidewalk improvements, paving and curbing, minor roadway improvements, major roadway widening, intersection improvements and signalization, roadway surfacing and CEI work. We use the latest software and engineering tools in preparing roadway alignments that are efficient, safe, and aesthetically pleasing to the motoring public. Our AECOM Traffic Team has 85 people in Florida with experience in design of traffic signals, signing and pavement marking plans, roadway/pedestrian lighting, and development of ITS systems. Current major assignments in this discipline include operation of the Traffic Management Centers in Fort Lauderdale and Miami-Dade and traffic safety consultant contracts in Districts 4 and 6 for the FDOT. Statewide, AECOM has over 40 professionals with roadway design expertise all uniquely qualified in the disciplines that drive design in Florida. Our experience includes everything from minor intersection improvements through complex design of limited access roadways and interchanges. AECOM is also an expert in design of bridges, culverts, and miscellaneous structures associated with transportation projects, and can meet all needs of the county in the design of these important project components.
