Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting May 21,2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Russo reported that we have not <br /> changed this since the City was incorporated. We did a survey in other communities, and <br /> this was actually the result of various discussions particularly with Commissioner Aelion and <br /> he had made the suggestion. Commissioner Levin asked who makes sure that the money is <br /> handled and appropriated properly? City Manager Russo said the Finance Department <br /> handles that. Commissioner Aelion said this still goes through the regular process. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> proposed Ordinance on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 5 <br /> 0 in favor.
