The awarded <br /> Bidder shall apply all applicable credits and discounts to the price charged to the County, and identify and reflect <br /> the discount on the applicable invoices. <br /> 5. Fuel Delivery Services <br /> A. The awarded Bidder shall have, or be able to contract with, a fleet of fuel transport trucks capable of <br /> accessing (lifting) fuel from Florida and Georgia ports and deliver to the County. The awarded Bidder may use <br /> its own resources or use subcontractors to provide the fuel deliveries. <br /> B. The awarded Bidder shall make deliveries within twenty-four (24) hours of the order or as directed by the <br /> County. All deliveries shall be made in accordance with good commercial practice, and within the specified <br /> operating hours of the applicable facilities, including fuel deliveries on Saturday and Sunday. In cases where <br /> the delivery will be delayed due to force majeure, strikes, or other causes beyond the control of the awarded <br /> Bidder, the Awarded Bidder shall notify the County's authorized representative (at the applicable facility) of <br /> the delays, in advance of the delivery time, so that a revised delivery schedule can be arranged with the <br /> County's authorized representative at the applicable facility. <br /> C. The awarded Bidder shall provide reliable fuel delivery by using transport truck (fuel amounts in excess of <br /> 5,000 gallons) and tank wagon (fuel amounts of 5,000 gallons or less) deliveries. The County anticipates that <br /> the majority of its fuel orders shall be delivered using transport truck deliveries. All tank wagon trucks shall be <br /> outfitted with the appropriate meters and measuring equipment for fuel delivery. Transport truck deliveries <br /> shall be accompanied by the Bill of Lading from the fuel terminal. <br /> D. All fuels loaded for deliveries shall be temperature adjusted to 60o F or in accordance with the latest edition of <br /> the ASTM International applicable standards for Petroleum Measurement Tables. The awarded Bidder shall - <br /> invoice based on the net gallons of fuel delivered after temperature compensation. The County reserves the <br /> right to reconcile any deviation of fuel delivered by using the County's electronic tank gauging system (e.g., <br /> Veeder Root). <br /> 7 <br />
