He currently serves on Miami-Dade <br />County’s Community Affordable Housing Strategies Alliance (CAHSA) Board, Florida <br />International University Alumni Association Board of Directors, and is Executive Board <br />of Director with the Latin Builder’s Association. He has supervised a variety of large- <br />scale projects. His diverse experience during his career includes management of <br />construction operations, risk management, and estimating. Erick is currently the Pre- <br />construction manager overseeing contract negotiations, estimating, and purchasing. <br />He also collaborates with the project owner, government agencies, and architectural <br />design teams. <br />Relevant Project Experience Summary <br />EAST COAST BUILDING, Miami, FL <br />Cost: $10.3 M | Delivery Method: CM At-Risk <br />Scope: 94,440 SF, 9 story mixed-use storage facility with 831 storage units inclusive <br />of a ground floor retail space, mezzanine space & roof top restaurant tenant. Project <br />consists of spread footing foundations & post tension slabs. Site is located adjacent <br />to the Miami River where extensive dewatering will be required. <br />WESTMINSTER CHRISTIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Palmetto Bay, FL <br />Cost: $5 M | Delivery Method: CM At-Risk <br />Scope of Work: This project consists of constructing a new building while the <br />campus is in operations after coordination of the demolition of existing buildings. <br />The new 50,000 SF building includes classrooms, music lab, arts lab, community <br />center, learning center, dance room, conference rooms, faculty lounge and offices. <br />Exterior recreational areas, landscaping and 41 new parking spaces wee also <br />included in the project scope. <br />UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI CONVOCATION CENTER, Miami, FL <br />Cost: $40M | Delivery Method: CM At-Risk <br />Scope of Work: Overseeing all construction operations related to the multi-level <br />205,000 SF 10,000 seat indoor college basketball arena. The project consisted <br />of a concrete structural frame and an extensive structural steel roof truss framing <br />system. The building also included an extensive audio/visual and communications <br />infrastructure backbone to support the multipurpose entertainment facility located in <br />the center of campus. <br />FIU LIBRARY EXPANSION, Miami, FL <br />Cost: $25 M | Delivery Method: CM At-Risk <br />Scope of Work: The FIU Library expansion included a fast track, phased construction <br />to add 200,000 SF to the existing 70,000 SF library. The project included a structural <br />retrofit to the existing three stories and addition of five additional floors (with future <br />structural provisions for a total of fifteen floors).
