Florida International University- College of <br />Nursing and Health Sciences <br />Original Budget: $34,000,000 GMP: $33,800,000 <br />2. Boca Lynn Cancer Center <br />Original Budget: $36,600,000 GMP: $35,500,000 <br />3. Lakeside Medical Center <br />Original Budget: $56,000,000 GMP: $54,300,000 <br />Permitting: As part of the CM service requirements Skanska will assist with obtaining building <br />permits and any special permits necessary for construction. Our local construction experience <br />will be use to provide consultation to expedite and facilitate obtaining the permits for the project. <br />During construction permits will be properly secured and building department inspections will be <br />coordinated. <br />Scheduling: We anticipate this project schedule to be aggressive. Meticulous detail planning, <br />scheduling and control will be necessary to ensure the timely completion of the new building <br />annex without sacrificing the quality of the work, the safety of the employees and to comply with <br />the city project budget. Skanska will incorporate schedule compression tools and techniques as <br />needed during the schedule development. This may include working extended hours, second shifts <br />and weekend days on critical trades and performing activities in parallel as much as possible. <br />Skanska will use the local experience and the expertise in project planning to provide alternatives <br />to complete the project on schedule. <br />The schedule will be developed utilizing our company standard software Primavera P6. The <br />schedule will be detailed to a level III and will integrate the design deliverables, bid/award periods <br />for subcontractors packages, long lead items, city activities, equipment procurement, permitting, <br />approvals, mobilization, shutdown periods, people/material flow, logistics, construction, testing,
