Project Approach and Understanding <br />Page 16 <br />Construction Project Execution Plan (CPEP): A key deliverable and our roadmap to <br />ensure project success is the development of a Construction Project Execution Plan for this project. <br />This living document will serve as communication tool and the road map for the flawless execution <br />of this project. Team members, including City of Sunny Isles, Perkins + Will, and other key end <br />users, will be able to review and provide input to ensure our execution strategy is aligned with the <br />project requirements, goals and expectations. <br />Interpretation of the scope <br />Skanska interpretation of the scope of work of this project is to be a partner to the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach and Perkins + Will, to provide construction management at risk services for the <br />construction of a new 100,000 SF building adjacent to the existing city hall located at 18070 Collins <br />Avenue, in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The new facility will be used for educational, municipal, <br />educational, community, police and civic, purposes. It will also be used as a commercial space. <br />The CM scope of services includes working in unison with Perkins + Will to provide <br />preconstruction advice, design review, recommendations, constructability and value engineering, <br />with the goal of finding the best way to build the new facility annex. The scope of services also <br />includes project controls (scheduling and cost control), construction estimating, project budget <br />generation, GMP (guaranteed maximum price) preparation, planning, contract documents <br />coordination, procurement, accounting, advice on cost saving methods, provide equal employment <br />opportunities, among others. The CM will also supervise, coordinate, prepare and submit all <br />applicable project permits to all agencies having jurisdiction.
