Material: Minimum 0.015" thick Type 304 stainless steel with mill [mish fabricated with <br />3/8" hemmed drip edge where exposed, turning up approximately 8" against backup wall <br />and penetrating wall surface; provide stainless steel termination bar as required if not <br />reglet is possible <br />3. Products: Subject to full compliance with all requirements, provide one of the following: <br />a. Cheney Flashing Company -Two-way Spando Design -Thru- Wall Flashing b. <br />b. Heckmann Building Products, Inc. -Sheet Metal Flashings 1000 Series <br /> <br />C. Stainless Steel Edge Flashing: <br />1. Application: Use where flashing extends past face of masonry or is partially or fully exposed; <br /> use to reinforce outside or inside corners of thru-wall flashing and provide end dams <br />2. Material: Minimum 0.015" thick Type 304 stainless steel with mill finish fabricated with 3/8" <br /> hemmed drip edge where exposed and turning up approximately I Y2" at back against backup <br /> wall; adhere thru-wall flashing to edge flashing <br />3. Products: Subject to full compliance with all requirements, provide one of the following: <br />a. Dur-O-Wal, Inc. -Dur-O-Wal Full Edge Stainless Steel Edge <br />Flashing <br />b. Heckrnann Building Products, Inc. -Sheet Metal Flashings <br />IOOO Series <br />c. Hohmann & Bamard, Inc. -#MFL Flashing <br /> <br />D. Adhesive for Flashings: Of type recommended by manufacturer of flashing material for use <br />indicated <br /> <br />E. Primer: As recommended by manufacturer for surface intended to allow full bond or adhesion of <br />flashing material <br /> <br />F. Sealant: As recommended by manufacturer to seal edges, penetrations and joints in flashing. <br />Sealant shall be fully compatible with flashing material, substrate, anchors and other items that <br />may come in contact with the sealant. <br /> <br />2.12 MISCELLANEOUS MASONRY ACCESSORIES <br /> <br /> <br />A. Preformed Control Joint Gaskets: Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Compound: ASTM D2000, <br />Designation <br />1. 2AA-805, designed to fit standard block and to maintain lateral stability in masonry wall; size <br />and configuration as indicated. <br /> <br />B. Bond Breaker Strips: Asphalt-saturated organic roofing felt complying with ASTM D226, Type I <br />(No.15 asphalt felt). <br /> <br />C. Cavity Protection: Provide material designed to maintain base of open cavities free of mortar <br />droppings or other items that may clog weepholes. <br />1. Weepholes: Provide 100% cotton sash cord wicking material in length required to produce 2-inch <br />exposure on exterior and 18-inch in cavity between wythes. Trim cord flush with mortar joint. <br /> <br />E. Fiber Glass mesh: Resin coated mesh conforming to ASTM D 1668-73, Type 207 Designed to <br />control the amount of loose fill insulation or grout that is used in partially filled walls. <br /> <br />F. Two -Piece Masonry Reglet: Utilize Type "B" Cheney Reglet with V." horizontal slot, 1-1/8" deep <br />galvanized steel to receive base flashing at low canopy roof and at main roof. <br />
