01020 - 11/15 Items 68 to 70 inclusive: Supply and Install Conduit for Hotwire / LF: The price for these items shall include but not limited to all labor, equipment and materials necessary to install and construct conduits, fittings with identification tape, blown –thru pull string, end caps in accordance with these contract documents which include all saw cutting, asphalt and other excavated materials removal and disposal, sheeting, shoring, bracing demucking, de-watering, any measures associated with dewatering such as turbidity barrier and sediment control de- watering permits, abandonment, removal or relocation of existing utilities, bedding material, trench backfill or additional suitable backfill material, backfill base material, compacted backfill limerock base material at least 16” thick or as shown on the road restoration details, compaction, material to be restored to same elevation as existing asphalt pavement grading, minimum of 1-1/2” ,or as shown on the road restoration details, of type SP-9.5 Asphalt Fine Mix installed per FDOT standard specification, first lift to be installed upon restoration of road base material ,sod replacement, regarding of existing road surfaces, mixing and regarding of existing base material, Soft digs, test pits, exploratory digging and restoration for existing utilities, repairs to damaged existing utilities, repairs to irrigation systems, landscape, driveway ,curb and sidewalk restoration ,striping and pavement markings, signalization repair and all other consumables, appurtenances and incidentals as shown on the plans and specifications and/or necessary for a complete installation shall be included in the unit price for this pay item. No additional compensation shall be made for changes in alignment or grade to avoid existing infrastructure unless the excavation exceed ten(10) feet in depth. Measurement for payment shall be based on the linear feet of conduit installed measured as LF along the horizontal center line of the conduit installed .Payment for installation shall be based at the unit price bid per linear foot of conduit. Items 71: Supply and Install directional bored conduit for Hotwire / LF: The price for these items shall include but not limited to all labor, equipment , materials, and incidentals required to perform the successful installation of the pipeline using horizontal directional drilling The unit price for this item shall include but not limited to the cost of permit ,exploratory methods (soft digs) to locate all existing utilities that will be crossed by the horizontal directional drilling operation prior to preparing the submittal of the operation for approval, drilling plan including description of the sequence of events that will be performed to install the specified conduit using horizontal directional drilling. The plan shall indicate the location of existing utilities as found by exploratory methods in the field as well as the construction profile to be used by the contractor to install the conduit. the unit price shall also include repair to damaged utilities by the contractor and restoration for any damage caused by heaving, settlement, and/or separation of pavement, 6.
