This project involved the upgrading of the existing traffic signals to mast-arms and internally illuminated signs. The design phase for this project comprised drainage, lighting, signalization, signing and pavement markings. PARK/RECREATIONAL FACILITIES Tamarac Sport Complex—City of Tamarac, Florida Principal in Charge for the design for the site plans of a new sports complex in the City of Tamarac. Wilde Park—City of Hialeah, Florida Project Manager/Engineer of Record for a park beautification project. Services included parking lots, paving, grading and drainage plan,overall park site plan,complete landscape plans, and all permits. Southeast Park Master Plan—City of Hialeah, Florida Project Manager/Engineer of Record for a park master plan. The master plan was developed and approved by the city. Services included conceptual plans for parking lots, park furniture, ball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts, cost estimates for construction and design. Milander Park Master Plan—City of Hialeah, Florida Project Manager/Engineer of Record for plans, contract documents, permitting, utility coordination, and contract specifications. The project includes paving, grading, drainage, and lighting plans for a 4-acre parking lot in the City of Hialeah. Project includes French drains for water quality. Westwind Park Improvements—City of Lauderhill, Florida Principal in Charge— RJ Behar provided lighting improvements for the park's fitness trail and design of exercise equipment pads along the trail as well as construction inspections. Welleby Park Expansion—City of Sunrise, Florida Principal in Charge — RJ Behar provided coordination with the City of Sunrise for the location and design of the concrete pads for the"LifeTrail"ADA accessible wellness/exercise stations. COST ESTIMATES Neighborhood Participation Program—City of Sunrise, Florida Prepared cost estimates for eighteen neighborhood improvement projects. The project included performing field investigations to determine the project scope to estimating the quantities and cost for the improvements. Cost Estimating Services—City of Sunrise, Florida Prepared construction and cost estimates for various recreational facilities. EXPERT WITNESS Gratigny Parkway•Client: Florida Department of Transportation (Defendant)—Hialeah, Florida Service Provided: Mr. Behar provided expert witness for a right-of-way acquisition case for eminent domain for the acquisition of several parcels on the Gratigny Parkway.
