JAVIER RODRIGUEZ, PE Wal-Mart Traffic Study—Town of Davie, Florida Project Manager—This project involved the review of a traffic impact study for a new Wal-Mart store proposed in the Town fib of Davie. He provided Development Review Committee(DRC)participation. NW 44th Street Traffic Study—City of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida Project Manager/Engineer of Record—This project included a traffic study with data collection; signals warrant analysis and progression analysis along SR-7. Transportation Master Plan Traffic Counts—City of Hallandale Beach, Florida Project Manager—This project included 24 hours and turning movement counts for a master plan study aimed at improving congestion within the City of Hallandale Beach. Land Use Amendment Plan -Traffic Study/Traffic Counts—Town of Davie, Florida Project Manager—RJ Behar is preparing a traffic study, on behalf of the Town of Davie, for a Land Use Plan Application to increase density within the Town's Regional Activity Center. The study includes traffic counts, projections of the new traffic demand and analysis of the existing and future operational conditions in the areas roadway network. Pembroke Road Traffic Study—Broward County Engineering Project Manager/Engineer of Record —This project included a traffic study of the roadway under existing and for the future conditions. Pembroke Road over 1-75 is a new link. The analysis included forecasting of traffic volumes for the new link and signal warrant analysis for three intersections. Keystone Point Neighborhood Traffic Study—City of North Miami, Florida Project Manager— RJ Behar was contracted by the City of North Miami to conduct a speed study for the Keystone Point Neighborhood. The study's objective was to determine the number of vehicles traveling above the speed limit and overall traffic speeds throughout the neighborhood. Additionally, the report was to include traffic calming measures that could be implemented to deter speeding. SITE PLANNING AND DESIGN EXPERIENCE Seawall Repairs—City of Pompano Beach, Florida Project Engineer— This project includes repairing existing seawalls for Hillsboro Inlet Park and Indian Mound Park in the City of Pompano Beach. Repairs include replacing existing concrete piles and pile caps, sealing cracks along the seawalls and backfilling areas of undermining near wall joints. RJ Behar utilized an existing conditions report generated by the City to produce construction documents for the contractors. These documents include various options for repairing deficiencies within the walls. Devine Park—Town of Davie, Florida Project Engineer—The Town of Davie contracted RJ Behar to convert a portion of the Devine Estates Tree Nursery into an equestrian park. Site elements include multi-use pedestrian/equestrian trails, a gazebo overlooking the existing pond, design of a drainfield for the proposed bathrooms, horse trailer parking and staging area for patrons with enclosure of the remaining tree nursery with associated maintenance access. Permitting entities include the Town of Davie, Central Broward Water Control District and Broward County Health Department. Hialeah Public Works Site Plan—City of Hialeah, Florida Engineer of Record — He was responsible for the site remodeling, demolition and reconstruction phasing of the City of Hialeah Water and Sewer Department Complex. The project included extensive utility coordination to coincide with the construction phasing for the project, new site layout, new exfiltration trench drainage system and design of new water and sewer facilities to service site. Tiger Tail South Side of Lake Parking- Broward College—Broward County, Florida Project Manager — He was in charge of the engineering design for the development of a two acre recreational facility parking addition in Broward County, Florida. Coral Springs Aquatic Complex Parking Lot—City of Coral Springs, Florida Project Manager in charge of providing engineering design services for the addition of parking spaces at the Coral Springs Aquatic Center located at 12441 Royal Palm Boulevard within the City of Coral Springs. SR-7/Sunrise Boulevard Lighting Design—City of Lauderhill, Florida Project Manager for the lighting plans preparation — This project consisted of roadway lighting design for SR-7 (US-441) at Sunrise Boulevard in the City of Lauderhill. The design was completed in accordance with FDOT roadway lighting criteria. Due to numerous existing utilities, the light pole foundations included the design of spread-footings as well as extensive coordination with utilities owners.
