S. Civil Engineer, Florida Project Manager – The project consists of the reconstruction of an existing roadway <br /> International University, segment along the Miami River to produce a scenic, landscaped, pedestrian/bicycle <br /> Miami, Florida 1991 walkway/greenway. The project includes the design of a drainage system with wells, <br /> decorative lighting and landscape/hardscape design. <br /> PROFESSIONAL SR-836 Emergency Access Ramp, Miami-Dade County, Florida – Miami-Dade <br /> REGISTRATIONS Expressway Authority(MDX) <br /> P. E. Florida License Project Manager – Mr. Alfred provided the design and engineering services, roadway <br /> No. 51857/1997 plans, traffic control plans, drainage analysis, environmental permits, utility PROJECTSIPROFESSIONAL co- <br /> ordination, lighting plans, signing and marking plans, structures (retaining walls) and <br /> special access gates. The project consisted of the creating a single lane ramp that <br /> ® AWARDS <br /> State of Florida Department of connects the Florida Turnpike on-ramp to the westbound SR-836 extension for <br /> Fort Lauderdale emergency use only. The emergency ramp was requested by the Miami-Dade Fire <br /> Transportation: <br /> Tonstuction Office Team Rescue Department to reduce their response time to emergencies along the 836 <br /> Achievement Award for the extension and locations where using the 836 extension would be the most direct route. <br /> This design was considered "complex-highway" and will be part of the MDX system. An <br /> Sunrise Boulevard Project emergency u-turn was designed on the SR-836 Extension between SW 127th Avenue <br /> and SW 137th Avenue. The design of a retaining wall was also required along the <br /> YEARS OF EXPERIENCE alignment in the vicinity of the South Florida Water Management District C-2 Canal. All <br /> 19 Years the associated drainage design, environmental permitting and utility coordination were <br /> part of this project as well. Project length: 1 mile. <br /> YEARS WITH RJ BEHAR Districtwide In-House Consultant Plans Review/Support Services, Fort <br /> 2006- Present Lauderdale, Florida–FDOT, District 4 <br /> Project Manager – Plans Review: The project includes reviews for compliance with <br /> FDOT criteria, construction time estimate preparation/review, review of computation <br /> booklets, specification packages, cost estimates, etc. The deliverables include review <br /> comments in the ERC database, marked-up plans, design exception variation reports, <br /> contract time estimates, traffic control plan review/constructability, quantity <br /> computations with pay item verifications, utility conflicts, right-of-way encroachments, <br /> etc. <br /> Design Support Services: Perform design services for the FDOT issued on a Task <br /> Work Order basis. The deliverables will be CADD compliant, in electronic format,signed <br /> and sealed with PEDDS.
