At RJ Behar, Ms. Aponte works on environmental and water <br /> resource projects, and provides support with hydrologic/hydraulic and water quality <br /> I*=3 modeling. She has significant experience with Phase I and II environmental <br /> +• assessments. <br /> f <br /> RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br /> Biological Study for the 118th Avenue Trail—Town Of Davie, Florida <br /> Environmental Inspector for a Biological Assessment (BA) report to document field <br /> EDUCATION observations made within the project area. She performed evaluations of existing <br /> M.S. Engineering, F.I.U. sensitive environmental resources (flora and fauna) and identified any impacts by the <br /> Miami, Florida,April 2000 proposed project. The purpose of the study was to support a variance request from <br /> ESOL V&Business Central Broward Water Control District to reshape a portion of the N-20 Canal along SW <br /> Technology—Miami, Florida 118th Avenue for the construction of a multi-use trail. <br /> B.S. Industrial Engineering- Mulching Pit Groundwater Sampling Report Facility—City of Hialeah, Florida <br /> Food Engineering, Environmental Inspector— She performed the water quality assessment of the facility on <br /> Universidad INCCA Colombia, a semi-annual basis since 2009. The reports address heavy metals in groundwater and <br /> 1991 the monitoring results every six months. The scope includes addressing comments from <br /> Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Resource Management(DERM). <br /> ONAL SR-80 Project Development& Environmental (PD&E)- FDOT District 4 <br /> PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS Environmental Inspector — She prepared the Contamination Screening Report (CSER), <br /> • <br /> Level 1 Assessment. The CSER report presented the findings of a contamination <br /> Certified Environmental screening evaluation for the proposed corridor improvements. This report identified and <br /> Inspector, 2000 evaluated known or potential contamination problems, presents recommendations <br /> concerning these problems, and discussed possible impacts to the proposed project. <br /> PROFESSIONAL Assessment of Water Management Practices within the Four Priority Basins of <br /> AFFILIATIONS the Lake Okeechobee Watershed—South Florida Water Management District <br /> Environmental Assessment Environmental Inspector - The scope of the project consisted of an environmental <br /> Association(EM) 2000 assessment of the existing private (urban and agricultural) and District water <br /> Member of the Order of the management practices in the four priority basins of the Lake Okeechobee watershed. <br /> Engineer 1998 Specific stormwater management practices that could be implemented to reduce <br /> Member of the Water phosphorus loading to Lake Okeechobee were identified. The WAMView is a physically based <br /> Water Works Association model that utilizes the characteristics of the watershed in the generation of flows and <br /> pollutant loadings and it has the ability to simulate physical features including best <br /> management practices (BMPs) necessary to assess and to reduce phosphorus loading to <br /> YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Lake Okeechobee. for the assessment of Best Management Practices for different land <br /> 15 Years uses within the Lake Okeechobee Watershed for the reduction of phosphorus using the <br /> WAMView model. <br /> YEARS WITH RJ BEHAR Sistrunk Boulevard from Federal Highway to 27th Avenue—City of Fort Lauderdale, <br /> 2002- Present Florida <br /> Environmental Inspector who prepared contract documents for over 2 miles of new water- <br /> lines; prepared all the design calculations, cost estimates, specifications and the permit <br /> package. <br /> ® Shady Banks/Septic Area Number 5—City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida <br /> Environmental Inspector — The scope was for the conversion of a septic system <br /> community to a sanitary sewer system.
