I C' - Civil/Environmental Engineering RFQ#12-04-02 I • Complete surface finish for the well consisting of a concrete pad and a vault as described in the work plan. • Collect any samples of cutting as required for waste characterization. • Restore site area. • Submit any soil sample collected to the laboratory. IArrange for disposal of contaminated cuttings. • Prepare and submit appropriate report. IWell Abandonment: • Repeat first six items under the well installation procedure. • Have driller obtain all required permits. I • Travel to site. • Have safety meeting with all parties. • Set up equipment at the well location. • Trimme grout into the well screen and riser. With pipe from the bottom up, grout may be installed under pressure or by gravity in accordance with work plan. • Allow grout level to stabilize and top off with grout, as required. • Remove concrete pad and well vault. • Restore the disturbed area with a similar surface material (concrete, asphalt, or soil). I • Prepare and submit report. Threatened and Endangered Species Survey: I • Receipt of task order. • Selection of staff(experience, availability, etc.). • Development of work plan, costing, and scheduling. I • Approval of work plan, budget, and schedule by City. • Collection of appropriate data from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Florida Natural Areas Inventory, SFWMD, City of Fort ILauderdale, Broward County, and others. • Site visit to include GPS of transects observed and also locations of any species of con- I cern identified, areas of appropriate habitat, and collection of photographs and other ap- propriate data for report. • Interpretation of results, development of tabularized data sets, preparation of maps, and I . submission of reports, including photographs. Submission of report to City. • Revision and finalization of report. IWetland Delineation: • Receipt of task order. • Selection of staff(experience, availability, etc.). • Development of work plan, costing, and scheduling. • Approval of work plan, budget, and schedule by City.
