Two former industrial facilities (Honeywell/Solitron and
Trans Circuits) contributed to the widespread solvent contamination of the surficial aquifer within a
wellfield protection area. These facilities were addressed under the Comprehensive Environmental Re-
sponse, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund) regulations. In summary, ECT's ef-
forts for the City included: review of and providing comments on technical reports, providing technical
oversight and confirmation sampling of continued contamination assessment efforts, plus preparing for
' and participating in numerous meetings with FDEP, EPA, and public. The technical services were pro-
vided through both ECT's Fort Lauderdale and Tampa offices.
•
' Date Completed: 2007
Total Cost S234,000
1
1
1
—Envimnmenlalng 46
Inc.
