The parking facility was proposed in response to the City's inadequate supply of <br /> downtown parking spaces. The capacity impact to key intersections was also analyzed. The property <br /> constraints and access scheme of five (5) alternatives were evaluated, and the minimum number of <br /> parking spaces required to serve the needs of the partnership was identified. <br /> Fort Myers Citywide Parking Study, City of Fort Myers, Fort Myers, FL <br /> 1 The project required the development of the city-wide parking study/report, which included <br /> identifying the optimum locations for new parking facilities and opportunities to improve or increase <br /> existing parking supplies, within the entire downtown area.
