Mark Henry has 16 years of experience in environmental fieldwork, permitting, and <br /> Certifications project management. This experience involves hazardous waste and ecological sciences work <br /> PADI Open Water Diver performed for federal, state, and county agencies as well as private sector clients. His projects <br /> Certification, 2001 have included contamination assessment and remediation, environmental assessments, and <br /> groundwater and soil remediation systems. He has also performed permanent and temporary <br /> NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox monitoring well installations, underground storage tank(UST) removals, soil borings, and <br /> Diver Certification, 2002 contaminated soil/sludge excavations and removal. Mr. Henry has written and submitted tank <br /> closure assessment reports(TCAR), contamination assessment plans(CAP), contamination <br /> assessment reports(CAR), and remedial action plans(RAP)to the Miami-Dade County <br /> Department of Environmental Resource Management(DERM)and Florida Department of <br /> Environmental Protection(FDEP). He has investigated soil and groundwater contamination <br /> at numerous facilities throughout south Florida. His responsibilities included work plan <br /> preparation, selection of and contracting with subcontractors, supervision and performance <br /> of field activities, regulatory notifications, site documentation, quality control, data validation, <br /> reduction and evaluation, and final report preparation. <br /> Mr. Henry has also supervised the installation of numerous monitoring, recovery, and <br /> production wells throughout south Florida. These wells were drilled using numerous techniques <br /> including mud rotary, hollow stem augers, and hand augering. He has gained hands-on <br /> experience in borehole sampling techniques such as split spoons and Shelby tubes. <br /> Mr. Henry has also been responsible for the installation, operation, trouble-shooting, and <br /> maintenance of dedicated well purging and sampling systems, compliance checks at gasoline <br /> stations in the tri-county area, performing percolation and pump tests, and servicing and <br /> repairing air stripping towers, soil vapor extraction units, and thermal catalytic oxidizers. <br /> His experience includes remedial investigations under the Comprehensive Environmental <br /> Response, Compensation, and Liability Act(CERCLA), monitoring well/soil boring installations, <br /> soil and groundwater sampling,wetland and upland evaluations, seagrass surveys, Phase I and <br /> Phase II environmental site assessments(ESA), contamination assessments and initial remedial <br /> actions, and construction oversight. <br /> Mr. Henry's representative project experience includes: <br /> Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, Indian Street Bridge <br /> Environmental Impact Statement(EIS), Stuart, FL. Performed wetland evaluations, fauna/ <br /> flora diversity assessment, and preliminary cumulative impact assessment along roadway <br /> corridor for the proposed Indian Street Bridge EIS. The EIS involved both informal and formal <br /> consultation with the respective environmental agencies including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife <br /> Service(USFWS), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), National Marine Fisheries Service <br /> (NMFS), South Florida Water Management District(SFWMD), and the Florida Fish and Wildlife <br /> ® Conservation Commission (FFWCC). Also conducted seagrass surveys in St. Lucie River along <br /> the proposed bridge footprint. <br /> FDOT District Four,Jensen Beach Causeway seagrass Survey. Conducted evaluation of <br /> existing conditions based on permit compliance for rehabilitation of Jensen Beach Causeway <br /> prior to commencement of construction.
