As lead architect, Mr. Warmington was <br /> Architecture responsible for architecture design and construction administration A-E services for the <br /> renovation of an existing 312,000-sf, two-story, distribution warehouse. The scope of work <br /> involved transforming an existing Toys-R-Us distribution warehouse into a materials warehouse <br /> and maintenance operations center with new offices for the north district maintenance <br /> M-DCPS; creating new shops for the repair of furniture and equipment, as well as 40,000-sf <br /> of new office space on the mezzanine with another 20,000- sf available for future offices; <br /> upgrade of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)and electrical systems; site <br /> modifications to provide new secured automobile parking and vehicle maintenance facility <br /> constructed as a separate project; and construction of a receiving bay, cafeteria, and restroom <br /> facilities. <br /> John H. Schee Vehicle Maintenance Facility, M-DCPS, Miami-Dade County, FL. Mr. <br /> Warmington served as project manager and lead architect responsible for architectural design <br /> and construction administration services for a new 25,000-sf vehicle maintenance facility that <br /> will help M-DCPS deal effectively with some of the significant logistical problems associated <br /> with being the nation's fourth-largest school system. The vehicle maintenance facility was <br /> constructed on slightly more than 5 acres of a 27-acre north district site that already houses an <br /> expansive maintenance and materials storage warehouse and other support functions. <br /> Grand Turk Welcome Center, Grand Turk Cruise Center(CCL), Grand Turk, Turks and <br /> Caicos Islands (TCI). Mr. Warmington was project manager providing professional design <br /> and construction administration services to the Grand Turk Cruise Center for a new, one-story <br /> welcome center facility, located on a 30,000-square-foot site. The design captures the spirit <br /> of the island and its history, and seeks to re-invigorate its historic center. The team designed <br /> a fully operational water storage cistern, coordinating the re-routing of an existing overhead <br /> power service line to underground, providing complete electrical design for the common areas, <br /> calculating electrical and HVAC loads including transformer sizing and metering, and providing <br /> adequate space for initial and future mechanical equipment.
