Master <br /> planning and detailed site development for this botanical garden. The gardens are adjacent <br /> to The Gulf Coast Museum of Art and other county facilities, and will serve as a conservation <br /> model and educational resource for Pinellas County. <br /> The Gulf Coast Museum of Art, Largo, FL. Site development including landscape and <br /> hardscape construction plans for this museum of art surrounded by the Florida Botanical <br /> Gardens and located within Pinewoods Cultural Park. Site design activities included two <br /> sculpture gardens, as well as groundcover gardens used to highlight and display outdoor <br /> museum sculpture. <br /> The Gulf Coast Museum of Art, Reception Sculpture Garden, Largo, FL. Prepared <br /> conceptual drawings, landscape and hardscape construction documents, and cost estimating <br /> for this courtyard sculpture garden. The design solution provides a flexible space for art center <br /> receptions and rotating sculptural exhibits. <br /> The Gulf Coast Museum of Art, Entrance Sculpture Garden, Largo, FL. Prepared <br /> conceptual drawings, landscape and hardscape construction documents, and cost estimating <br /> for this pocket sculpture garden. The design solution emphasized the angular architecture by <br /> transforming the angles in the ground plane into a checkerboard pattern of groundcovers in <br /> which the sculptures were displayed. <br /> Ten Mile Canal Linear Park, Lee County, FL. Preparation of a master plan and landscape <br /> architecture services for a linear park facility that will stretch approximately 20 miles along <br /> residential, business, and light industrial districts in Lee County. The park centers on a pathway <br /> for walking,jogging, and biking that connects several recreational and educational facilities. <br /> Extensive public participation was included in the planning process. <br /> Leon County Landfill Park, Leon County, FL. Project director for development of this <br /> landfill-to-park conversion master plan for the Leon County Landfill. Master planning efforts <br /> included alternative concept plan development, cost estimate and analysis, landfill closure <br /> engineering, public involvement, and task force coordination. <br /> Rodes Park, Brevard County, FL. Project manager for development of the site master plan, <br /> cost estimates, and construction documents for this 128-acre active recreation facility in Brevard <br /> County. Coordinated public involvement efforts through various community boards. Atkins <br /> provided full landscape architectural services for the development of the park. <br /> Wickham Park, Brevard County, FL. Project manager for development of the park master <br /> plan for this existing 400-acre park and development of park features, such as the equestrian <br /> center, senior center, and internal park upgrades. <br /> Jetta Point Park, Seminole County, FL. Project manager for master planning and <br /> construction documents for this 45-acre active recreation park in the cities of Oviedo and <br /> Winter Springs, Florida. Activities include public involvement, master planning, construction <br /> documents, and landscape architecture. <br /> Soldier's Creek Park, Seminole County, FL. Project manager for the development of this 25- <br /> acre active recreation sports complex. Developed master plan, order of magnitude costs, and <br /> a coordinated public involvement. <br /> Brevard Senior Center, Brevard County, FL.
