The project included plaza areas, landscaping, custom fountains, lighting, <br /> 1 and pavement. The design celebrates the history of Decatur through the use of custom design <br /> elements. <br /> Women's Studies, University of FL. Senior designer in charge of developing a garden for <br /> this new facility located on the historic women's gym site. The garden includes fountains, an <br /> outdoor lecture room, landscaped seating areas, formal arrival court, custom wall enclosure, <br /> and special design elements that celebrate women's contributions to society. <br /> Canton Streetscape, Canton, GA. Developed project images for this downtown <br /> redevelopment project for the Canton historic district. <br /> Gulf Coast Museum of Art, Pinellas County, FL. Design of two sculpture gardens for <br /> rotating exhibits. The design includes fountains, landscape plazas, and seating areas. <br /> Trail Master Plan, City of North Las Vegas, NV. Senior planner in charge of developing a <br /> city wide bicycle master plan that includes on-street and off-street systems connecting major <br /> public and private community facilities to the entire city and region. <br /> Florida Botanical Garden, Pinellas County, Largo, FL. Senior designer responsible for <br /> designing a sculpture garden for the new Gulf Coast Museum of Art, an entry plaza and <br /> wedding garden for the Florida Botanical Garden, a new 53-million botanical garden in Pinellas <br /> County. The gardens are located within a 123-acre cultural park. The design includes custom <br /> fountains, garden structures, and custom decorative metal work. <br /> Delray Beach Gateway, Delray Beach, FL. Senior designer in charge of developing a <br /> gateway design for this coastal city located in south Florida. The project included working with <br /> two nationally recognized artists to develop a design that celebrates the diversity and history of <br /> Delray Beach. The design proposed six 20-foot-high sculptures that represent the community <br /> and a heritage plaza. <br /> Jupiter Riverwalk, Jupiter, FL. Mr. Whiteford served as senior designer for this 4-mile <br /> riverwalk project that connects the heart of the community to the Intercoastal Waterway. The <br /> riverwalk created a continuous linear park to connect restaurants, community parks, a yacht <br /> club, state park, and festival mixed-use development.
