Mr. Suarez participated as the Design Architect and Project Manager all the • way through the project including all the tenant improvements and the interior design of a small restaurant at the East end of the facilities. This 28,000 sq.ft.retail/office space and 1 a rental units • cost $3.4 million to develop. • • Ramada Inn,Chattanooga,Tennessee-Project Manager for four-story.200-room hotel with restaurant • and conference center.This 92.000-sf project was built for$7.1 million, including interior finishes but excluding furniture. • • Plaza Hotel, Daytona Beach, Florida - Project Manoger for this multi-level and multi-functional • renovation and improvement: to revitalize the beach strip and old hotel, including public spaces, restaurants, corridors, party rooms, penthouse suites, pool terrace and entrance. • Construction documents included coordination of new A/C system and electrical wiring • upgrade. Budget was$8.2 million. • Pelican Pub Restaurant, Pompano Beach, Florida - Project Manager.responsible for site plan and construction management of unique restaurant. Over five years, converted an original marina/ • showroom and dry boat storage facility into a restaurant, going from wood deck-and-chickee- • roof patio bar to on 18,000-sf. full-service restaurant rated highly for food and atmosphere. • Construction was$2.5 million. • Pompano Fishing Pier,Pompano Beach,Florida-Architectural Designer.Site Planner and Project • Manager for combination fishing pier/retail/restaurant and public facility complex. This public/ • private development increased the project's scope and introduced a new concept.The project included a 6,500-sf restaurant.2.600-sf terrace and exterior 3,000-sf restrooms,5,000-sf retail shops • and 1,200-sf administrative offices. Construction value was$1.98 million. • • Pal's Cabin,West Orange,New Jersey-Co-Architectural Designer and Project Manager for intensive facelift of existing restaurant facilities that hod accumulated more than 50 years of sporadic • additions. The new building shell was designed and built over the original building. The original • building was dismantled in four days,and new interior was completed in two weeks.Construction • budget of$650,000 and the objective of restricting downtime to less than three weeks were met. • RETAIL EXPERIENCE • North Ridge Mall,Fort Lauderdale,Florida-Assistant Design Architect&Assistant Project Manager for • master plan development of project through bidding phase.Project was a retail strip store complex • that housed more than 150.000-sf of total construction, including two anchor tenants.This outdoor mall also included six mini-theaters and two out-parcels,for a gasoline station and a restaurant. • • Waterside Shoppes, Sunrise, Florida - Design Architect & Project Manager for master plan and site • plan development of a 30,000-sf retail strip shopping center for multipurpose use.Final uses included retail stores, animal clinic, two restaurants and an out-parcel, for a gasoline station. Client was a • private developer with investment of$1.8 million. • • Park City Plaza, Davie, Florida - Design Architect & Project Manager for master plan and site plan development for a 45.000-sf retail strip center.
