• APPROACH & METHODOLOGY <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • 1.7 Space program -The team, with the Village, will create a Program of Spaces including basic <br /> • information such as sizes, space requirements, work-flow, special uses, etc. Additional <br /> • information to be included: <br /> • <br /> • • Existing Site/Building conditions • Demolition requirements <br /> • • Interior Build-out spaces • Energy Efficiency requirements <br /> • • Site / parking needs • Security / Access control <br /> • <br /> • 1.8 Initial User meetings - If directed by the City, B&A will organize and meet with the specific <br /> • City staff to discuss the programmatic needs and obtain feedback and comments. <br /> • <br /> • 1.9 Workshop -A workshop will be organized with the City for review of all findings. <br /> • <br /> • 1.10 Schematic Design - The Team will prepare the schematic design submission. <br /> • <br /> • 1.11 LEED and Sustainability - Prepare report on LEED strategies and sustainability of the proposed <br /> • facilities. <br /> • <br /> • 1.12 Budget/ Rough Order of Magnitude - Prepare a preliminary budget estimate. <br /> • <br /> • 1.13 Schedule - B&A will prepare an updated schedule for implementation including regulatory <br /> • permitting. <br /> • <br /> • 1.14 Executive Summary - Develop a written report, or "Program Statement," based upon the <br /> • information gathered. This report will include o summary of goals and objectives, an assessment, <br /> • list of deficiencies, a description of alternatives to be considered, a description of the <br /> • recommended approach and a schedule. <br /> • <br /> • 1.15 Internal meetings - B&A will facilitate meetings with key City staff as needed to develop basic <br /> • components and planning of building program, including the City's standard building <br /> • systems, equipment and materials. <br /> • <br /> • 1.16 External meetings - Attend coordination meetings with City staff and any pertinent external <br /> • agencies as required to determine and gain conceptual approval from all pertinent entities as <br /> • required. <br /> • <br /> • 1.17 Permitting Strategy - B&A will develop a comprehensive permitting strategy and initiate <br /> • discussions with Building Permit Review officials on code issues / clarifications. <br /> • <br /> • 1.18 Submission - Prepare and submit six (6) sets and electronic format of Schematic Design <br /> • Documents, including specification outline, cost estimates and schedule to the City staff for <br /> • review and approval. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • Cba CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL& ENGINEERING SERVICES FIRMS ONLY(CCNA) <br /> • RFQ No. 12-04-02 60 <br />
