IntelliTime Systems Corporation •
Section 3:3 Scope of Work— Narrative Responses
IntelliTime is a COTS solution that was purpose built to handle even the most complex
leave, pay and scheduling rules without any custom programming, using interface
screens. Many other vendors claiming to support complex rules with customization
actually provide a suite of"cookie cutter"rules for vendors to choose from, with a non-
binding guarantee of accuracy. So even these supposedly COTS systems required
weeks or even months of custom programming, and these customizations then have to
be maintained in subsequent upgrades at great expense. Some examples of rules
easily configured in IntelliTime include Court or Call Back Minimums, Shift Differentials,
Unlimited Jobs with Job Rates, FMLA, Affordable Care Act maximums, Holiday
Premiums, and Weighted/Blended Overtime. The savings from reducing customizations
alone makes IntelliTime the most economical system to own and operate for many
clients.
3.3.8. The City desires an annual support/maintenance structure that will be inclusive of
all future support and upgrades of the proposed system (non-hosted or hosted options,
both).
IntelliTime Response: Yes, our standard support and maintenance agreement
includes all minor fixes/patches as well as 2 full system upgrades annually. At
IntelliTime we consider support Job One, and we encourage the City to ask our
references about the consistently high caliber of IntelliTime support. We have also
included a detailed narrative description of our support and maintenance in the Support,
Maintenance and Hosting section of our response.
3.3.9. The system must comply with all Fair Labor Standards Act and City payroll
policies and procedures.
IntelliTime Response: Yes, we will configure all Federal, State and local payroll
policies in the IntelliTime system and document these configurations with a 200-page
Customer System Configuration and Test Plan for the City's reference and approval.
Some examples of complex rules easily configured in IntelliTime include FLSA versus
contract overtime, FMLA usage limits, Affordable Care Act maximums and employee
totals, Holiday Premiums, Call-ins, Shift Differentials, these are not a limitation.
Copyright 2016, IntelliTime Systems Corporation Page 4 of 6
5/10/2016
