Pre-construction beach profile surveys and
mapping for 5,000 linear feet of shoreline were conducted prior to the implementation of the proposed truck haul
beach nourishment for the Project area.

Coastal Systems completed the coastal engineering design of the 35,835 cubic yards (cy) beach fill project. A
phased-approach was proposed for the implementation of the Project by utilizing the 17,820 cy of sand stockpiled
from the excavation. The remainder of the beach fill Project was completed with the approved County source of
sand from the Ortona Mine.

Additionally, Coastal Systems provided consulting services relative to the construction of the project, including
construction plans, bid assistance, construction administration, construction surveying, volume calculations, and
turbidity monitoring. The firm also provided Resident Project Representative (RPR) services.

Upon completion of construction, Coastal Systems performed post-construction beach profile surveying and
mapping. A physical monitoring engineering report was prepared, providing pre/post construction beach profile
data and baseline conditions.

25.
